CLEPA website

Representing more than 3,000 companies in the automotive supplier industry, CLEPA is the European association that defends the interests of the automotive sector. It plays a major role in supporting innovation, sustainability and competitiveness in the European automotive industry. Fastlane's role? To design a complete overhaul of the website to make it a genuine information hub where players in the automotive supply chain can keep abreast of the latest policy developments influencing the sector. For our team, the aim was to improve the user experience to make it more fluid, simplify access to the 4,000 pages of existing content and optimise the site's performance to better inform, engage and convert visitors. In charge of the project, our team carried out its work in three major phases:
  • Upstream analysis to identify areas for improvement and lay solid foundations for the website redesign.
  • Creation of mock-ups using Figma.
  • Back-end and front-end development of the final website.
One of the main challenges was to structure and prioritise the 4,000 pages of resources (including: data digest, position papers, news, press releases, publications) in a clear and accessible way, while maintaining a visual identity in keeping with the automotive world. The new homepage has also been redesigned to offer a fair balance between all the information (political priorities, information on CLEPA, membership, etc.) and facilitate the user journey. Thanks to a complete overhaul, the new CLEPA website offers an optimised user experience tailored to the needs of players in the automotive supply chain. The modernised, sober and intuitive interface allows visitors to access important information quickly while reflecting CLEPA's identity and expertise. The organisation of content has been redesigned to ensure fluid and logical navigation for users, who can follow political developments impacting the sector and easily access essential resources. A key element of the redesign is the introduction of Industry Spotlights, which highlight topical issues in the automotive industry. These sections dedicated to specific themes not only enrich the user experience by providing relevant and targeted content, they also play a strategic role in SEO. They attract new visitors who help to increase the site's visibility and thus make CLEPA more attractive to an audience unfamiliar with the association. The new homepage also plays an important role, improving the visibility of institutional information and making it easier for new members to join.
