International Democracy Day Brussels is an event organised each September to mark the UN International Day of Democracy. After several editions, the organising partners decided to further cement the event's reputation with a new a visual identity and website.
The new logo's pictogram represents the three letters of the IDD acronym shaped as a parliament hemicycle - the symbol of democracy. The vibrant colours are reminiscent of the EU's but bring a less institutional and more dynamic touch to the event's branding.
Finally, the new website includes all information relevant to potential attendees: a dynamic event programme, archived information on past editions and relevant information on the organising partners. The website was built using WordPress.
